The training and education opportunities in Iraq are vast, running into $billions. The commitment of international oil company contractors to skills development is hardwired into their contractual obligations to the Ministry of Oil, to the Iraqi people and to the need to safely and collectively build Iraq’s production capacity to in excess of ten million BOE per day.
The third event of its kind, Getenergy for Iraq 2011 is a unique and specialist forum focusing in detail on the latest training and education tenders, opportunities and challenges facing the upstream oil and gas business in Iraq. The event is a two site operation with unique access into the oil/education infrastructure in Basrah as well as a dedicated exhibition and series of workshops held in Dubai.
Unlike the now ubiquitous and generic Iraq oil and investment conferences and shows, Getenergy for Iraq deals with our specialist area of knowledge, namely training and education activity, requirements and infrastructure, and is the forum for linking providers of learning to the international oil and gas operators who need their services.
Getenergy is proud to be the Secretariat for Iraq’s Study Group of training and education companies and international oil and gas operators and the key players in this group are expected to inform the programme for the event.
Getenergy for Iraq 2011 is a meeting and Learning Arena exhibition for anyone concerned with the provision of training, equipment, O&M, engineering, university relations, logistics, visas, tenders and contracts, business development, English language and HSE.
